Riding through Chicago, you'll dive into the City's rich and extremely relevant political, social, and economic history while discussing how it connects to the NATO and Nobel Peace Prize Summits.

Guests will learn about the riots of the Democratic Convention of ’68 and the Haymarket tragedy, and we’ll look into the clashing interests of mayors, immigrants, labor movements, business leaders, and social workers all in their pursuits of both a greater life and City.

This tour does not include hotel pickup; departure is from River East Arts Center and details will be provided on your E-Ticket. Minimum age to sample beers is 21. If you order the Student Rate, you must present a valid student id upon arrival for your tour. Please order online or call us toll-free at 888-881-3284.

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy:

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Important note: This tour has a moderate to advanced level of difficulty and you must be able to ride a bike for 14 miles.

Do I need a bike?
No, you will be provided with a cool Schwinn Beach Cruiser, along with helmet if you want one. Each bike has its own name and comes equipped with a basket if needed.

What if it rains?
If it happens to rain during the tour, rain gear will be provided. Tours are only canceled if it is pouring rain at the tour start time.

What can I expect?
Expect to have fun! Chicago was recently given the title of "best bicycling city in North America" by Bicycle Magazine. You'll have the chance to learn about Chicago's fascinating history while meeting other fun travelers. You'll cover more ground then a walking tour, and feel the pulse of the city.
